This special event features the World Premiere performance of new large-ensemble work by Rova’s Larry Ochs featuring Rova Saxophone Quartet plus cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, percussionists William Winant and Scott Amendola, guitarist John Schott, and other master improvisers. Since this work is inspired by the revolutionary filmmaking of Stan Brakhage, we will screen several short films before and after the music, including Stellar, The Wold Shadow, The Garden of Earthly Delights, and Commingled Containers.
