San Francisco filmmaker Michael Wallin’s work over the past 20 years has embraced many subjects and creative approaches, yet each film conveys his direct and deeply felt involvement with the materials at hand. Tonight, Michael Wallin will present the West Coast premiere of DECODINGS (1988), an “autobiographical” found footage/collage film, a psycho-sexual portrait told in the third person, plus earlier works. Program: Tall Grass (1968/1980), Sleepwalk (1973), Monitoring the Unstable Earth (1980), and Along the Way (1983).
