Animation allows the imagination its fullest range of expression. The filmmaker starts with a blank slate and literally fills it in with shape, depth and movement. Tonight’s program highlights the work being done by some of the most innovative animators in the U.S., including premieres by Robert Breer and George Griffin, as well as films from Hungary, Austria and the Netherlands.
