Curated by San Francisco Cinematheque as part of DOBRA Festival Internacional de Cinema Experimental, Rituals of Regeneration draws on work presented in CROSSROADS 2019 and 2020 and consists of eleven works on toxicity and transcendence, violent and sublime, which contemplate the contemporary psychic landscape. Intimacies and delicacies are discovered in nature and domestic spaces are contrasted with brutalities of the capitalist Anthropocene era as mythologies of reckoning are explored.

The magic life of the objects reanimate the ancestrality of the aesthetic of dream.
